Student Opportunities

Liverpool Hope University provides its students with plenty of opportunities to engage in enterprise activities, from learning more about the world of work to setting up a business.

The University has a strong record of supporting entrepreneurial activities among its students and has a number of bursaries, funding opportunities and business incubation space.

In this section, you will find information on Hope's Enterprise Society, which works to develop an enterprising culture on campus, and details of the new Young Enterprise programme.

Jaguar Land Rover Company Visit

Students during their JLR tour

The Business Gateway organised for our Level C Business Marketing students to take part in the Jaguar Land Rover Experience tour in December 2013. Having the opportunity to explore the sight and find out information about the plant and what it has on offer for students, graduates and interns. They also got a sneaky insight to new car ranges that will be released later this year.

After the tour, the Communications Manager visited Hope as a keynote speaker to assist students in developing their marketing techniques. Using the Victoria Beckham Limited Edition of the Land Rover Evoque, charity donation car and China’s growing market as examples of the high demand for their products. Also as ways in which they continue to plug their ever growing brand. This was a great opportunity for our students as it gave them an insight to a marketing role with a large company and gave them contacts for potential work placements.
