The Estates team supports the University’s strategy of delivering top-quality research informed teaching.
Estates are responsible for providing a wide range of essential services effectively managing, maintaining and developing the University’s buildings and grounds. These services make a significant contribution to the University and the student experience.
The University Estate has recently undergone an intensive period of development in line with the University Strategy. This has seen many dramatic changes at various locations on campus, including; a refurbishment of the former Frances Mary Lescher Rector’s Dining Hall into a new Student Hub; a major refurbishment of the Sheppard-Worlock Library to create exciting and modern student study spaces; the creation of a new retail shop at the Creative Campus; and the formation of a new Business Centre within the former Alexander Jones Building.
