Liverpool Hope University Learning and Teaching events are normally constituted of five staff development days spread across the academic year.
The 2014/15 Learning and Teaching schedule ran as follows:
Continuing the whole University Conversation and Sharing Good Practice. The Communities of Practice will formally meet.
Training opportunities in specific areas of learning and teaching. A range of community of practice opportunities will be offered across a spectrum of learning and teaching areas encompassing classroom techniques, using technologies, giving and receiving feedback, for example. Staff members will be expected to attend two sessions.
Further sharing of Good Practice. Workshops presented on examples of good practice in learning and teaching as identified in the annual monitoring process in the Faculties. This will include the presentation of an award for excellence in Learning and Teaching at the Foundation Day celebration alongside the Tony Grayson Award.
