The government has set up a National Scholarship Programme, which started in 2012, to support English students from low income households and will be jointly funded by the government and Liverpool Hope University. We are in a position to award 115 of these scholarships and they are worth in total £6,000 each, paid over the length of your course. £1,000 will be paid in cash with the balance paid in the form of credits against University accommodation and institutional services. You must reside in the University Halls of Residence in your first year of study.
The new scheme will be targeted towards students who most need financial help and will also be available to part time students, although the payments will be pro-rated depending on the intensity of study (minimum intensity 25%).
