Support for Dyslexic Students

Many students who experience dyslexia (or other specific learning difficulties e.g. dyspraxia, dyscalculia) do not think of themselves as disabled. However, you are entitled to support. For example, this might include:

  • Additional arrangements for exams, such as extra time
  • A Learning Support Plan to inform university staff
  • Permission to audio record lectures
  • Access to assistive software
  • Support from a dyslexia study skills coach
  • Assessment for colour sensitivity when reading

Please contact Student Development and Wellbeing to discuss your individual support requirements.
