Post-Arrival Information

Senior Resident Tutors

We have a team of Senior Resident Tutors to support you while you live in halls. Every hall has at least one Resident Tutor living in or near the hall and it is their job to ensure that you have settled in. You can ask them about anything that is worrying you. They will be the people who organise social events and regular hall meetings, but they are also responsible for ensuring that an acceptable standard of behaviour is maintained.

Room Inventory

Please complete the room inventory in your room. If you are based at Hope Park please return this to the Accommodation Office. If you are at Aigburth Park and the Creative Campus please return it to the Security Lodge. Your deposit will be reduced if there is any damaged or missing items in your room, flat, or hall at the end of the year, so please make sure you note anything which is marked, damaged, broken or missing.

If you have misplaced your form, please email accomodation@hope.ac.uk for a replacement‌.  Any items which need to be repaired immediately should be Reported as a repair via the on line Estates help desk .

Dining In Nights

As part of our formation as a community we will have a 'Dining In Night' each term. This is a formal meal provided by the University for each Hall of Residence to dine together. It is where members of the Rectorate Team (senior University managers), academic staff, support staff, administration personnel, chaplains, governors, security staff, Senior Resident Tutors, and invited guests all come together to share in a meal with resident students. These are unique occasions in the academic year so please dress up, look smart and enjoy these collegial celebrations of what it is to be a Hall community.
