Fitness Classes

 

As part of the Sports Complex Membership all fitness classes are free to attend. Classes are suitable for all abilities, so why not give it a go!

How to Book onto a Class

In order to attend a class you will need to make an advance reservation. Reservations can be made up to 7 days in advance. 

A reserve/waiting list is in operation, if you have not made a prior booking you will not be allowed entry into the class even if there are spaces, people on the waiting list will have priority.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your place from a class you are booked onto, you must provide at least 3 hours' notice. Failure to do so will result in a charge of £3.00. Your membership will be suspended until you pay the fine.

If you do not notify us of your cancellation and then fail to show up for the class this will result in you being given 1 strike, if you receive 2 strikes within a 30 day period you will lose the right to book onto any further classes for a 30 day period.

Class Descriptions

HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training which involves high activity exercise followed by short intervals of low intensity training.

Spin - Group training which involves high intensity and low intensity interval training on a stationary mountain bike taking you through the terrains of mountain biking with vibes of music in the background.

Pilates - All over body workout which improves posture and core muscles, lengthens and strengthens muscles and helps prevent injury.

Core & Back - This class is designed to strengthen core and back muscles using different exercises which will give you definition around them stubborn areas of torso and back.

Dance Aerobics - group exercise which focuses on different techniques using high intensity interval training.

Legs, Bums and Tums - the perfect moderate intensity fitness class to condition and tone, with a combination of aerobic and endurance exercises this is the perfect class for sculpting the legs, hips, bum and stomach areas.

Yoga - Is a form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing.

Kettlebells - A full body workout using kettlebells to perform ballistic exercises that combine cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training.
