If you fly into Manchester or Liverpool airport/train station, please let the International Unit know your arrival details by filling in an Airport Collection Form, this will be sent to students and made available here shortly. Please let us know your flight details at least three weeks prior to arrival. If you have not received this by email then please complete it and send it to email@example.com
Many low cost airlines fly into Liverpool John Lennon Airport which is approximately three miles away from the University. If you arrive at London Heathrow or Gatwick, you can take an “air shuttle” flight to Manchester at a reasonable price. There are bus and train connections from the London airports to Liverpool, but you will normally have to change at London Euston. If you take the train, you will need to take the underground train from Heathrow (50 minutes) or the train from Gatwick (30 minutes) to Euston where you can get a direct train to Liverpool. These leave hourly throughout the day and take about 2 hours to reach Liverpool (Lime Street Station). The fare varies according to the time of day and the day of the week. The average fare depending on day of the week and time is about £50 off peak.
Please download our International Student Guide which will provide you with all the information you need about coming to Liverpool Hope and what to expect when your arrive.
