The Peer Academic Writing Mentor service is based in the Sheppard-Worlock Library and is aimed mainly at undergraduate students who need support with writing essays.
The Mentors are all studying at postgraduate level, which means they have faced the everyday challenges of essay writing, whether that be with deadlines, revision or writing a dissertation. They have all received training and are there to mentor you, share their experiences of University and show you the techniques and approaches they have found useful, throughout their academic journey.
The mentors are here to support and encourage you to become better writers. Information about the Peer Academic Writing Mentor Service can be found at https://www.hope.ac.uk/gateway/library/writingmentors/
