Responsibility and ownership for implementation, compliance and development of the University’s Equality and Diversity Policy lies with the Rectorate and Senior Management Teams, Staffing Committee and the Equal Opportunities Sub Committee.
The Staff Equality Network was set up in February 2008 to act as a forum for networking and raising issues in relation to Hope’s approach to Equality and Diversity.
All staff are invited to join the network and, in particular, staff who are representative of the specific target areas covered by legislation.
The network meets termly and currently has over 40 members representing all departments across the university.
